More of the jobs you actually want
Marketing for Canberra’s trades. No lock-in contracts, no junk leads, no jargon. I'm Alison - 18 years in marketing, based right here, and I answer my own phone.
Canberra-based · 18 years' experience · No lock-in contracts
Flat out one month, chasing work the next.
Most Canberra tradies I meet are in one of three spots:
The work comes entirely from word of mouth, so you can't turn the tap on when it goes quiet.
You're paying a lead service every month for tyre-kickers and jobs three suburbs past where you'd drive.
You know you should be doing something online, but every agency that calls you wants $6,000 a month and can't explain what for.
Any of that sound familiar?
That's the bit I fix.
Marketing for
Trades in Canberra
-

Getting Found on Google
When someone in Canberra searches for your business, you want to be the one they ring. Google Business Profile, local search, reviews, and the website changes that make it work.
-

A website that wins jobs
Your website should work as hard as you do. It should show your actual work, load fast on a phone, and make it obvious why you're worth the call. I build simple, straightforward websites on Squarespace. This means you can choose to manage them yourself when I’m done, or I can look after them for you long term. It’s your call.
-

Social media marketing
Your finished work is the content — you just need someone to make it look good and post it consistently. I'll set up the system, or run it for you, or teach your apprentice to do it in ten minutes a week.
-

Google Ads, Meta Ads
If you know you need to run ads but have no ideas where to begin, or simply don’t have the capacity to take on the task, let me take it off your hands. I work with you to understand your service lines and business needs, to drive calls with new customers and clients to your phone.
I'm Alison. I've spent 18 years in marketing running campaigns for big businesses with the budgets to match — and I now put that to work for trades in Canberra.
There are plenty of agencies advertising to tradies. Nearly all of them are in Sydney or Melbourne running the same playbook across two hundred clients, and you'll be handed to an account manager you've never met. I'm one person, in this city, who knows that the Red Hill build is a different job to the lawn care in Gungahlin or the multi-property management company in Turner. I’m the person who you can ring directly when something's not working.
That's the whole difference, and it's the reason most of my clients come from previous ones telling them to call me.
You'll be working with me. Every time.
And if you're a woman running a trade business —
I particularly want to work with you. While the trade industry catches up to representation, I’d love to put you and/or your business at the forefront. Get in touch with me >
How it works
-
You tell me where your work comes from now and what's not working. I'll tell you straight whether I can help. If you'd be better off spending the money on a ute wrap, I'll say that and find the right contact to set it up for you.
-
In writing, before you commit to anything. You'll know what it costs, what it should do, and roughly when.
-
We get to work on our plan. There' is no lock-in contract, everything is month-to-month or on a project basis.
Give me 15 minutes
No pitch, no obligation, just a straightforward chat to let me know what you’re looking for, and I’ll let you know if I’m the right person for you.
Not ready to call?
I send one email a month to Canberra tradies.
